Isabelle is passionate about creating a warm, accepting space where children and teens feel safe to fully be themselves. She blieves that children and young people communicate and process their experiences in many different ways, and that play, creativity, and self expression can be powerful tools for healing and growth.
Her interests include supporting children and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, big emotions, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem and identity. She is especially passionate about play therapy, drama therapy, and expressive arts therapies, incorporating creativity, storytelling, imagination, movement, art, and role-play to give young people different ways to explore and express experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
Isabelle approaches counseling from a person-centered perspective and believes that every child deserves to feel genuinely heard, accepted, and valued. She brings warmth, curiousity, creativity, and humor into the counseling space while honoring each client's individual pace, interests, and unique story.
Outside of the playroom, Isabelle enjoys spending with her dog, Peachtree, hiking, reading, singing, listening to live music, exploring various creative outlets, and finding new things to do around Colorado!
